Tony Bradley, North Carolina
Tony Bradley, if he goes, he’s going to get picked in the top 40, from what many draft sites have him projected. That’s tempting, and he’s absolutely going to be picked off potential. I personally think that he needs to get stronger, work on his explosion around the basket, and polishing both his offensive and defensive game. If he returns, he could play himself into being a top-20 player in college basketball, and if that happened, he’d probably be a lottery lock in 2018. It would be more money, in a weaker draft, so what decision should he make?
It doesn’t hurt that Joel Berry and Theo Pinson have already announced they’re returning to Chapel Hill. If Bradley really wants to be in his best position to succeed, coming back for a sophomore season would put the Tar Heels chances of repeating as National Champs in great consideration. Bradley would become the big-time threat in the post building confidence in his game. Add the incoming Freshmen led by Jalek Felton and a deep bench with returning contributors. The Tar Heels would have to be considered one of the top six teams in college basketball entering the season if he comes back.
Yes, I totally agree with everything you said. I believe that Tony Bradley should go back to Carolina for another year because he is not NBA-ready yet. Tony Bradley needs to go back to school and dominate on the college level and if he does that he will prove that he is NBA ready and his draft stock will rise to lottery pick status.
Timing is important in a making any major decision. Who made this decision to leave? Son, father or NBA?
You think?
Make a wise decision and stay in school, Tony!
Timing is everything!
