UNC Tar Heels Basketball Team Stave Off a Scrappy Bulldogs Squad

The Tar Heels basketball team had a week off and came out a bit rusty against a scrappy Garnder Webb team who has knocked off a few ACC opponents in the last few years.

North Carolina got a scoring boost from freshman Armando Bacot who had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Which helped to aid Cole Anthony who had 28 points to lead UNC to victory.

Cole Anthony had 28 points, 4 steals, and 2 assists.

Armando Bacot had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Needs Work

The Tar Heels need to score the basketball better. They must be in catch and shoot mode and not be hesitant. UNC needs to continue to build their on-court chemistry as they continue to define roles on the team.

Final Observations

It took some time for North Carolina to get into the flow of the game. They had a choppy first half on both sides of the ball. UNC must find consistent scoring to help Cole Anthony. The Tar Heels have the parts to make up a great team but they need to continue to build chemistry. We will take the win and move forward.
