UNC Tar Heels Basketball Team Lets Hangover Carry Over Resulting in Another Loss

The Tar Heels basketball team is continuing to have a very difficult season. So many bad breaks. The ball hasn’t bounced their way. North Carolina allowed the Duke hangover to doom their chances against Wake Forest. They got down by 26 points in the first half before they decide to come out of their funk.

UNC struggled to make shots for much of the first half. Christian Keeling was the only bright spot in the lackluster effort by the Tar Heels. He came off the bench to score 15 points to tie Cole Anthony for high scoring honors.

UNC Bright Spots

Cole Anthony 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Christian Keeling had 15 points and 4 rebounds.

Armando Bacot had 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Needs Work

UNC needs to move without the ball and play better help-side defense. They need to attack the basket more aggressively and realize that no one is feeling sorry for them. They must take one game at a time.

Final Observations

The Tar Heels couldn’t afford to have a letdown due to their emotional game against Duke but they allowed it to carryover. It goes without saying that every team in the ACC is going to try and take advantage of North Carolina’s misfortunes. They must man up and play the final seven games like warriors.

A positive note: Keeling is finally playing like everyone expected him to play when he arrived on campus.
