UNC Tar Heels Spiraling Downward
by Derrick Clyburn
The Tar Heels have put themselves in a hole that they can’t get out of this season. UNC is 1-7 with a Homecoming Date against Miami next Saturday. There have been breakdowns on both sides of the ball. Including the coaches and special teams. This football game against Va. Tech today is one of the worst performances during the Fedora era.

Bright Spots

Needs Work
UNC must work on every phase of the game. The offense, defense and special teams. North Carolina hasn’t scored more than 17 points since their win over Old Dominion. The offensive line needs to stop putting the team behind the sticks with illegal procedure calls. They had seven or eight today.
Final Observations
The coaches are going to have to keep this team’s spirits up for the final four games. It’s ugly right now and players are very frustrated. The Tar Heels need to work on executing one play at a time. Building from little successes.
