Final Stats of Tar Heels: NBA Summer League Basketball

The playoffs are over and the grind of the NBA Summer League is done for 2017.  It’s now off season, and two months before fall camp begins. There are Tar Heels futures at stake. Whether It’s the NBA,  The G- League, or Overseas. They have invested many years to get to this stage in their young basketball careers. Nine Tar Heels players had a chance to show their skills to the NBA GMs. It will be interested to see which players without guaranteed contracts gets invited to the NBA fall camps.

Marcus Paige is with the Minnesota. Kennedy Meeks is with Toronto. Tony Bradley and J.P. Tokoto are with Utah. Justin Jackson is with Sacramento. Brice JohnsonIsaiah Hicks, and Kendall Marshall are with the LA Clippers. Nate Britt is with Atlanta.

Final Summer League Observation

Justin Jackson, Tony Bradley, Kennedy Meeks and Brice Johnson have been the most consistent players. Everyone else has been a mixed bag, due to the rotation of what the teams have decided for the basketball players. Most teams have 20 players that they have to evaluate.
