The Tar Heels basketball team took care of business in a workmanlike performance cruising to a 97-73 victory.  Luke Maye had his 5th double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. The North Carolina defense is improving every game. They held Tulane to 37 percent shooting for the game. Joel Berry and Kenny Williams each had 13 points.

Luke Maye had his 7th 20 point game of the season with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 blocks.

Joel Berry had 13 points 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Kenny Williams has been playing well on both ends of the floor with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

Jalek Felton and Brandon Huffman both chipped in 9 points each.

Needs Work

The Tar Heels freshmen bigs need to keep focusing on attention to detail on defense and rebounding.

Final Observations

The Tar Heels are continuing to get better on defense. They play very unselfish basketball. The players off the bench are producing more consistently. Carolina looks like that they enjoy playing with each other. That’s a great sign.
