Needs Work

The defense gave up 28 points in the first half. The linebackers and safeties were out of their gaps on running plays that allowed Pitt to rush for over 170 yards in the first half. The defensive backs need to turn their heads to make plays on the ball.

Final Observations

UNC vindicated themselves from the first two weeks of the season with a win against a tough Pitt team to open the ACC season at 1-0. Papuchis must shore up the defense helping them get off to a faster start. They must focus on their run fits in the gaps. Overall, UNC will take this win build from it. They have a short week to recover. Now the focus is on Miami this Thursday night.
