The Tar Heels football team has the talent to play with anyone, but with the youth, injuries and suspensions of the players. It has made this season a juggling act of sorts for success. Poor execution on offense and defense has put UNC behind the sticks all season. The coaches haven’t helped the players get over the hump to be in game-winning situations either. It’s been challenging to watch them struggle.

Carl Tucker had 3 catches for 48 yards and 1 TD.

Dazz Newsome caught 3 for 56 yards and 1 TD.

Needs Work

The Tar Heels need to play mistake-free football on both sides of the ball. Fedora and the coaching staff have to help this team finish games. Both the offense and defense need to get off to faster starts. The coordinators need to be more aggressive with their play calling.

Final Observations

North Carolina has lost six games. They would need to win out to be bowl eligible. Anything is possible because they have truly been in every game. If they can clean up the turnovers and be more aggressive and both sides of the ball strategically. UNC could end the season on a good note. It’s been frustrating to see them squander opportunities in every game. Fedora has to help them stay focused and call better plays consistently.
